Giving back to the community is very important to Rockspring, for both the employees and the investors we work with. In the last quarter, we participated in many volunteer and fundraising events that allowed us to contribute to causes that are near and dear to our hearts.

In November, several partners and I had the opportunity to participate in the very first Westside Homeless Partnership Golf Tournament at the Club at Falcon Point. The event raised $52,000 that will go towards ending homelessness for many families by providing them with the resources and education to become self sufficient. It is a great cause that we were glad to be a part of.

Additionally, we had the opportunity to partner with the CanCare organization once again at the 22nd Annual CanCare Golf Classic. CanCare is a network of trained volunteers and cancer survivors who provide support to those facing cancer. The event helped raise awareness of the cause and strengthen support for the organization. It was a very fun day, with certain, “party” holes offering different live music, food and energy.

Rockspring is dedicated to promoting the message and practice among the community for the support of fabulous organizations like CanCare and the Westside Homeless Partnership. As we transition into 2015, please keep cancer patients and survivors as well as the homeless in your thoughts.
